The at is indeed a feast you cooked there for your family! I'll gladly join you for dinner :)

I'm just thinking about the enjoying the moment, it's true your child wasn't seeking but the other child who joined her probably was and both made a friend. I guess enjoying the moment can be both passive (relaxing and let things be) and active (do something or seek something)? I am just bouncing off thoughts with you here, I have no idea :)

But I am definitely the "it's the journey that counts, not the destination" person!

Ha thanks Rachel! Generally there’s an expectation in Japan to cook up a storm at home, especially those with kids for balanced nutrition purposes. Indeed, the other child may be seeking friendship. As per the title, it’s finding balance between the meditator, artist, and warrior - if one has been doing/seeking too much, then one may find joy in just stepping back and go with the flow

I'll definitely have to reread your piece to contemplate on the meditator, artist and warrior!

There's no expectation here in Germany to cook up a storm but I would really like to also feed my kids more varieties and nutritions. They are very picky 😅
