Shusui-tei Teahouse 拾翠亭, such a proper name inside the park. Tea is indeed a versatile friend. It is the essential companion for moments of solitude, but it can also enter the right conversations.

Tea is indeed versatile like the ever-adaptable water properties. 拾翠亭 is an elegant name with poetic charm, fitting for this timeless beautiful site. Besides tea gathering, it was historically used for poem writing parties - Japanese Waka 和歌 (31 syllables in five lines with a 5-7-5-7-7 syllable).

When the time is right, I hope to one day host my 诗茶会 there 🤍
